Kentucky beat Oklahoma 94-78 last night for the Cats seventh win in their last eight games.

The 94 points were a season-high for Kentucky in Southeastern Conference games.

– He has scored in double figures in all 23 games this season. He has a total streak of 26 games dating back to last season. He also had a 26-game double-digit streak last season before his current streak began.
– This marks the 16th, 20-point game for Oweh at Kentucky against SEC opponents, the second-most at UK since 1996-97, trailing only Antonio Reeves (19).
– Oweh posted his 23rd, 20-point game for the Wildcats, passing Joe Crawford and Tayshaun Prince for the sixth-most at Kentucky since 1996-97.
– He is the first Wildcat since at least 2004-05 to score at least 24 points in three consecutive games against the same SEC opponent.
– This is the first time since at least 2004-05 that UK had six players with at least three assists against an SEC opponent.
– Brandon Garrison notched 20 points and 11 rebounds, his first double-double as a Wildcat and second of his career.

In the First Half

– Kentucky started the combination of Denzel Aberdeen, Collin Chandler, Otega Oweh, Andrija Jelavic and Malachi Moreno for the fourth consecutive game.
– UK’s first substitution was Brandon Garrison was at 15:53
– Both teams were hot early, as Oklahoma scored on the first seven possessions and Kentucky was able to counter with five 3-pointers in the first nine minutes.
– Tied at 28, a trio of Chandler 3-pointers keyed a 15-4 spurt and Kentucky went to halftime ahead 43-32.
– Chandler’s nine points led the Wildcat scoring in the first half.

In the Second Half

– Kentucky opened with the starters.
– Kentucky lengthened the lead to as many as 19 points at 57-38.
– The Wildcats were ahead 74-57 with eight minutes left when Oklahoma went on a spree, cutting the gap to 82-74 with three minutes left.
– Garrison replied with a basket-and-one and the Wildcats led by double digits the rest of the way.
