Former Kentucky head coach Rick Pitino had some praise for Mark Pope after tonight’s win at LSU.
“Awesome play Cap (Captain Mark Pope), incredible shot,” Pitino said on X. “And to my Camelot friends, there was a big man on the ball lol.”
Of course, Pitino’s second statement is a reference to Christian Laettner’s shot that beat Pitino’s team in 1992.
