Arkansas head coach John Calipari went off for nearly seven minutes about the current state of college athletics following last night’s win over James Madison.
“The rules be the rules,” Calipari said. “If you put your name in the draft, I don’t care if you’re from Russia, you can’t play college basketball! If your name was in that draft, and you got drafted, you can’t play college basketball!”
Cal went on to suggest a five-year rule.
“You can’t be 30. You got five years. Clock is ticking,” he added.
