Boyle County won an incredible 4A semifinal game over Corbin earlier tonight, but the game ended with some major controversy.
The Rebels blocked a late extra point to maintain a late 34-33 lead. Corbin attempted an onside kick but Boyle County recovered.
The Rebels then mishandled a snap that got past their quarterback and appeared to be recovered by the Redhounds.

Unfortunately, the officials talked and determined that the play was dead due to an inadvertent whistle.
Boyle County kept the ball, ran out the clock and won the game 34-33 to advance to next week’s 4A state championship game at Kroger Field.
