Former Kentucky and Gonzaga forward Kyle Wiltjer was recently named Hoops Agents Player of the Week in Italy’s Serie A league.
Wiltjer had a game-high 23 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in Venezia’s 98-90 win over Tortona.

33-year old Canadian power forward (207-F/C-1992) had a great game in the last round for Umana Reyer Venezia and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 23 points adding three rebounds and two assists for Venezia in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Tortona (#5, 6-3) 98-90. Umana Venezia is placed at 4th position in Italian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Venezia will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team’s last game Wiltjer had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Umana Venezia, through which he has constantly improved. Kyle Wiltjer averages this season 11.0ppg.
