Kentucky Football Gets Embarrassed at Vanderbilt

Kentucky football rolled into Nashville Saturday with a bit of momentum following three straight wins with signs of turning around a miserable 2-5 start.

Unfortunately, the Cats left Nashville in despair after getting absolutely destroyed 45-17 by the Commodores.

Some might say the game actually wasn’t as close as the final score, which is saying something.

Freshman quarterback Cutter Boley was again solid for the Wildcats (5-6). He was 26-for-44 for 280 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. One of the giveaways was a bomb to end the first half.

Unfortunately, Diego Pavia went 33-for-39 for 484, 5 touchdowns and 1 pick on the other side. Pavia, playing his last game in FirstBank Stadium, also had 15 carries for 45 yards and a score.

Sadly, Pavia’s outstanding performance was overshadowed by his mom, who somehow ended up on national television looking like this:

Now, Kentucky heads to Louisville for the final game of the regular season with a bowl game on the line. The Cardinals have lost three games in a row, and largely looked like a team that has given up during yesterday’s 38-6 loss at SMU.
