Sports Illustrated has ranked the top 30 starting point guards in the NBA and it’s very clear that Kentucky is actually Point Guard U.
The Wildcats have 9 of the league’s top 30 point guards according to SI, including 4 of the top 10.
Current MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tops the list at No. 1. Devin Booker comes in at No. 6 with Tyrese Maxey just behind him at No. 7. De’Aaron Fox is No. 9.
Other Wildcats in the top 30 include No. 14 Jamal Murray, No. 16 Tyler Herro, No. 22 Immanuel Quickley, No. 25 Malik Monk and No. 26 Reed Sheppard.
Meanwhile, Louisville, which Pat Kelsey recently claimed was Point Guard U., has no players on the list.
