Former Kentucky guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has landed a new four-year, $285 million super maximum contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The new contract, with an annual average of $71.25 million, is the richest annual salary for a player in NBA history.
Gilgeous-Alexander is the reigning NBA MVP and he led the Thunder to the NBA championship.
