Skal Labissiere returns to NBA for first time since 2019

The Sacramento Kings recently signed former Kentucky forward Skal Labissiere to a 10-day contract.

Labissiere has played well in the G League this season, averaging 16.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Stockton Kings.

Monday night, Labissiere appeared in an NBA game for the first time since December 28, 2019.

The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has signed Skal Labissière to a 10-day contract. Per team policy, the terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Labissière has appeared in 148 NBA games with Sacramento (2016–19) and Portland (2019–20). He has also made 83 appearances in the G League, including 18 starts this season for the Stockton Kings, where he is averaging 16.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 28.2 minutes per game. Labissière was drafted 28th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns before being traded to Sacramento. He holds career averages of 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game.
