Head coach Hubert Davis has landed a long contract extension at North Carolina.
Davis apparently agreed to the new contract in December and it will extend through 2030.
The Tar Heels have had a largely disappointing season. They are currently 18-11 overall and sitting on the NCAA Tournament bubble with just a single Quad 1 win (1-10 in Q1 games).

Davis is reportedly planning to hire a full time basketball GM for his program. According to Matt Norlander, former UNC coach Buzz Peterson will be involved as well.
