Four University of Kentucky football players have received invitations for the 2025 National Football League Scouting Combine in Indianapolis later this month.
Eli Cox, Maxwell Hairston, Jamon Dumas-Johnson and Deone Walker all earned invitations to the combine, which kicks off February 27 and runs through March 2.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Four University of Kentucky football players – Eli Cox, Maxwell Hairston, Jamon Dumas-Johnson and Deone Walker, have received invitations for the 2025 National Football League Scouting Combine scheduled for February 27 – March 2 in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
NFL Scouting Combine Live Drills begins Thursday, February 27, with exclusive live coverage on NFL Network starting at 3 p.m. ET. The full lineup is as follows:
Thursday, Feb 27 – DL, LB drills start at 3 p.m. ET (Walker, Dumas-Johnson)
Friday, Feb 28 – DB, TE drills start at 3 p.m. ET (Hairston)
Saturday, March 1 – QB, WR, RB drills start at 1 p.m. ET
Sunday, March 2 – OL drills start at 1 p.m. ET (Cox)

Kentucky has had at least four players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine five straight seasons and six of the last seven.
A total of 47 players have been invited to the Combine since head coach Mark Stoops’ arrival in 2013 and 38 players since 2019.
The Wildcats are looking to have multiple players drafted for the seventh straight year.
In 2024, four players (DB Andru Phillips, ILB Trevin Wallace, RB Ray Davis and QB Devin Leary) were drafted.
In 2023, three players (QB Will Levis, RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. and DB Carrington Valentine) were chosen.
In 2022, UK had four players (WR Wan’Dale Robinson, DL Joshua Paschal, OL Luke Fortner and OL Darian Kinnard) selected.
In 2021, six players (LB Jamin Davis, DB Kelvin Joseph, DL Quinton Bohanna, DB Brandin Echols, OL Landon Young and DL Phil Hoskins) were selected, which tied for the fourth-most in school history and the most since 1979 (eight).
In 2020, two players (WR Lynn Bowden Jr. and OL Logan Stenberg) were drafted.
In 2019, UK had five NFL draft picks in LB Josh Allen, DB Lonnie Johnson Jr., DB Mike Edwards, RB Benny Snell Jr. and OL George Asafo-Adjei.
The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24-26 on Lambeau Field and Titletown campus in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
