A private jet carrying the Gonzaga men’s basketball team had a scary close call with a Delta Airlines plane on the way to Saturday’s game against UCLA.
Gonzaga’s plane landed at LAX on Friday. While taxiing on the runway, the Bulldogs’ plane came eerily close to pulling out in front of a departing Delta Airlines plane.
The air traffic controller could be heard saying, “Stop! Stop! Stop!”

Thankfully, the Gonzaga plane stopped in time and a potentially serious situation was avoided.
