Former Kentucky forward Wenyen Gabriel has reportedly agreed to terms with Panathinaikos Aktor Athens in Greece’s GBL league.
Gabriel opened the season with Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Israel’s Winner League. In 6 league games, he averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. In 9 Euroleague games with the club Gabriel averaged 5.8 points and 4.7 boards.

Panathinaikos Aktor Athens (GBL) are about to bol their roster with addition of 27-year old South Sudanese international center Wenyen Gabriel (208cm-1997, college: Kentucky). He already started the season at M.Tel-Aviv in Israeli Winner League. In 6 games he recorded 5.5ppg and 4.8rpg. He helped them to win the cup. Gabriel also played 9 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg. The last season summer he played at Vaqueros (BSN) in Puerto Rican league.
He also represented South Sudan at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event he scored an average of 5.7 points per game and had 9 rebounds per game.
