Things didn’t go as planned for No. 4 Kentucky in Madison Square Garden this evening. Ohio State handed the Wildcats a humbling 85-65 loss in the second game of the CBS Sports Classic.
Kentucky (10-2) was able to get as close at 6 points in the second half, but the Buckeyes extended the lead back to double digits and never looked back on the way to a huge Quad 1 victory.
Bruce Thornton led Ohio State (8-4) with a game-high 30 points. Former Kentucky forward Aaron Bradshaw came off the OSU bench to chip in 11 points.
