Kentucky outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Year on Sunday.
Head coach Craig Skinner was named SEC Coach of the Year.
DeLeye is the sixth different Kentucky Wildcat to win SEC Player of the Year as a Kentucky player has now won the award for a seventh time.
Skinner has earned SEC Coach of the Year honors six times during his incredible career.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Volleyball outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye was named the 2024 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and Craig Skinner was named the 2024 SEC Coach of the Year, the conference office announced Sunday afternoon.
Additionally, Kentucky had several other winners in the annual postseason awards as DeLeye was joined by Emma Grome on the conference first team. Molly Tuozzo, Kentucky’s standout sophomore libero was voted by the coaches to the SEC’s second team and the Wildcats placed two players on the SEC All-Freshman Team with Asia Thigpen joining Brooke Bultema.
DeLeye becomes the sixth different Kentucky Wildcat to win SEC Player of the Year as a Kentucky player has now won the award for a seventh time. DeLeye joins Sarah Rumley (2008), Leah Edmond (2018, 2019), Madison Lilley (2020), Alli Stumler (2021) and Emma Grome (2022) as winners of the conference’s top honor. Kentucky has now won the award six of the last seven years.
For Skinner, he wins SEC Coach of the Year for the second-straight season and the sixth time in his career. He picked up his 300th-career SEC win Wednesday night in Columbia, Missouri as the Wildcats claimed the 2024 SEC title outright in a 3-1 win over Missouri. Skinner has previously been named the SEC Coach of the Year in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2023 and now 2024. He posted a 14-2 record in SEC play this year as Kentucky won its eighth-straight conference title.
