Former Kentucky forward Wenyen Gabriel is headed to Israel next following the 2024 Olympics.
Gabriel has signed with Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv in Israel’s top-level Winner League.
This summer, Gabriel played for Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico’s BSN league. In 23 games, he averaged 13.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
Gabriel will compete for South Sudan in the 2024 Olympics. The South Sudanese squad will battle Team USA on July 20 in group play at the Olympics.
