Rutgers transfer quarterback Gavin Wimsatt is currently visiting Kentucky.
Wimsatt passed for 1,735 yards, 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions last season at Rutgers. He also rushed 131 yards for 497 yards and 11 touchdowns. He led the Scarlet Knights to a 7-6 record, including a win over Miami (FL) in the Pinstripe Bowl.
The former Owensboro High School star entered the portal after Rutgers named Minnesota transfer Athan Kaliakmanis the starter after spring practice.
