One of the early names mentioned for the Alabama job is no longer in the conversation.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning put out a video this afternoon announcing that he is staying with the Ducks.

Here’s his announcement:



Other early names that have been mentioned for the Alabama job include Lane Kiffin (Ole Miss), Dabo Swinney (Clemson), Steve Sarkision (Texas) and DeMeco Ryans (NFL).
