Kentucky women’s basketball opens SEC play with surprising win over Arkansas

The Kentucky women’s basketball team opened Southeastern Conference play with a somewhat surprising 73-63 win over Arkansas.

The Wildcats (8-7, 1-0 SEC) struggled through much of the non-conference schedule before reeling off three straight wins. The victory tonight extends the winning streak to four.

Ajae Petty led the Cats with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Brooklyn Miles added 12 points. Emma King chipped in 10.




Kentucky will travel to Tennessee on Sunday.
