Former Duke star Jay Williams is back on the air calling college basketball games and he’s certainly making a splash.
Today, during UConn’s win over Indiana, Williams floated a wild rumor about Kentucky guard D.J. Wagner transferring to Louisville.
“Milt Wagner… his grandson, DJ Wagner, plays for Kentucky,” Williams said on the air. “There are a lot of guards on Kentucky’s roster who are really good. They can go. You wonder how that situation plays out over time. Does DJ find himself back at Louisville?”
Keep in mind, Wagner is currently starting for Kentucky and is projected to be a lottery pick in the next NBA Draft.
During the UConn-Indiana game today, unrelated to Kentucky, Jay Williams attempted to create speculation, with no info, about DJ Wagner transferring to Louisville.
