Kentucky’s All-Time Leading Scorer Travis Perry Commits to UK

Travis Perry, the all-time leading scorer in Kentucky high school basketball history, has committed to UK.

“At the end of the day I decided to stay home and play for my home state school,” Perry told On3. “Growing up I played for the West KY Wildcats and now I’m excited to join the Kentucky Wildcats.”

Perry, a four-star point guard in the Class of 2024, picked Kentucky over Alabama, Cincinnati, Ole Miss and Western Kentucky.

Travis Perry, a four-star point guard in the 2024 class, has committed to John Calipari and the University of Kentucky.

The 6-foot-2 senior guard from Eddyville (Ky.) Lyon County chose the in-state Wildcats over a final group of Alabama, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, and Western Kentucky.

“At the end of the day I decided to stay home and play for my home state school. Growing up I played for the West KY Wildcats and now I’m excited to join the Kentucky Wildcats.”


Perry, the all-time leading scorer in Kentucky high school history, is ranked as the No. 87 overall player in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Rankings – a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 1 ranked player in the state of Kentucky.
