Rockcastle County freshman linebacker Hunter Pingleton produced one of the best plays of the night in Kentucky high school football last night.
Early in the game, Bell County was trying to punch it in from the one yard line. The Bell County running back tried to torpedo himself into the end zone. Pingleton caught him in mid air and slammed him to the field.
Rockcastle went on to pull off a 40-38 upset to improve to 6-1 on the season. The loss was Bell County’s first of the season.
