DeMarcus Cousins suffers injury in game 6 of semifinals in Puerto Rico

DeMarcus Cousins has reportedly been ruled out of tonight’s decisive game 7 between Guaynabo and Carolina in Puerto Rico’s BSN playoffs.

After Cousins left game 6 with the injury, Carolina dominated the paint and prevailed 93-90 to even up the best-of-7 series.

If Guaynabo finds a way to win tonight, Cousins should be able to return during the finals series.

According to LatinBasket.com:

DeMarcus Cousins (211-C/F-1990, college: Kentucky) was ruled out of game seven between Guaynabo and Carolina after suffering a groin tear at the start of game six.

His recovery time is expected to take over a week. Game seven is tonight in Guaynabo.
