Former Kentucky forward Jacob Toppin signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the New York Knicks earlier today.
According to reports, Toppin’s deal with guarantee him $75,000.
Unfortunately for Toppin, Exhibit 10 deals are one-year, non-guaranteed (beyond the $75,000) minimum contracts. The deal could be converted into a two-way contract as long as it occurs prior to the regular season.
Jacob Toppin’s contract with the Knicks is not a two-way, sources tell The Athletic. Instead, Toppin signed an exhibit 10 deal, which guarantees him $75K.
