Former Kentucky stars Immanuel Quickley and Tyrese Maxey shared a funny story about former teammate Kahlil Whitney on Maxey’s podcast show Thursday.
According to Quickley and Maxey, there were stretching for Kentucky’s Pro Day with scouts from all 30 NBA teams in attendance. The two said it was dead silent in the gym. Whitney walked in and screamed, “it’s time to get paid boys!!!”

In case you’re wondering, Whitney left UK during the middle of his freshman season and declared for the 2020 NBA Draft. He went undrafted and has bounced around the G League for a few years since then.
