Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang and his players seem to have a confident swagger heading into Sunday’s game against Kentucky.
“This won’t be my first time playing Kentucky,” Tang told the media after his team’s win over Montana State last night. “We broke their 55-game win streak when I was at Baylor at Rupp, and the other two times that we played them at a neutral site we won.”
Kansas State’s Markquis Nowell was asked about facing Kentucky on the TV broadcast last night. He said the mindset is to “kill them… they’re standing in our way.”
Love how @CoachJTang sticks up for the #kstate faithful. #EMAW pic.twitter.com/JtQG3g5ljZ
