Kentucky dropped out of the pre-NCAA Tournament AP Top 25 poll after losing to Vanderbilt for the second time in March.
The Wildcats (21-11) did receive enough votes to technically be No. 28 this week.
Providence, Kentucky’s first round NCAA Tournament opponent, is not ranked and received no votes. Kansas State, which UK could potentially face in the second round, is No. 15.
