Kentucky earned a critical Quad 1 victory in Starkville tonight. The Wildcats survived a late Mississippi State run to pick up a much-need 71-68 road win.
Oscar Tshiebwe led the way for Kentucky with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Jacob Toppin added 16 points. Antonio Reeves chipped in 14.
Chris Livingston scored 13 points, including some clutch free throws to help the Cats (17-9, 8-5 SEC) hold on late. Cason Wallace played more than 38 minutes, finishing with an outstanding 11 assists and 1 turnover.
