Two Missouri players almost got into a fight during the Gasparilla Bowl because one of them tried to show sportsmanship towards Wake Forest’s quarterback.
Missouri defensive back Ennis Rakestraw Jr. tried to help Wake Forest quarterback Sam Hartman up off the ground after he was a little shaken up. Tigers linebacker Chad Bailey took exception to the gesture and almost started a fight with Rakestraw.
Even Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz was scratching his head on the sideline during the altercation.

To the surprise of no one, the Demon Deacons went on to win the game 27-17.
