Kentucky football signee Ty Bryant, a senior at Frederick Douglass High School, received the Paul Hornung Award earlier this week.
Bryant had 64 carries for 498 yards and 12 touchdowns for the undefeated state champions in Class 5A. He also had 22 tackles, 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery on the other side of the ball. Bryant also returned three punts for touchdowns this season.
The Paul Hornung Award is given annually by the Louisville Quarterback Club to Kentucky’s top high school football player.
