Kentucky’s bowl projections changed dramatically following Saturday’s stunning loss to Vanderbilt.
Last week, the Wildcats were in the mix for a bowl game in Florida.
This morning, 247 Sports projects the Wildcats to the Liberty Bowl against Oklahoma State.
Projection: Kentucky vs. Oklahoma State
Once ranked inside the top 15, Kentucky’s offense flatlined and Saturday’s loss to Vanderbilt was particularly embarrassing. It was the Commodores’ first SEC win since 2019 and snapped a 26-game losing skid against conference competition. Projected 2023 NFL first-round pick Will Levis under-performed this season at quarterback.
The Wildcats are also being mentioned in the Music City Bowl by a few writers:

Things have certainly headed South this season. Unfortunately, in the end, it’s not going to be as far South as we were hoping.
