Most of the talk around Kentucky football in the past week centered on the Wildcats struggling with NIL.
Mark Stoops put out a video teasing that big NIL news is on the way Monday.
Unfortunately, the Wildcats also needed to put some focus on the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Wildcats came out flat today, were never able to fully recover and suffered an embarrassing 24-21 defeat at Kroger Field.
The win was Vandy’s first SEC victory since 2019.

The result will be most of Big Blue Nation checking out and plenty of finger pointing at Stoops, offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello, quarterback Will Levis, the offensive line, Mitch Barnhart and pretty much everything else related to UK football.
The criticism after today’s loss will be deserved.
The Wildcats are staring a best-case scenario of 7-5 and a low-level bowl game right in the eyes, and that’s only if they can find a way to beat Louisville (which is no guarantee).
Kentucky football has serious problems right now and time is running out on a once-promising season.
