The Colin Goodfellow game: Kentucky wins ugly at Missouri thanks to punter’s heroics

It wasn’t beautiful, but all that matters is Kentucky (6-3, 3-3 SEC) found a way to win on the road at Missouri Saturday.

With the outcome hanging in the balance, punter Colin Goodfellow made one of the more heroic plays in recent UK football history. Knowing he was going to take a shot (that likely ended his season, of not career), Goodfellow picked up a bad snap and quickly turned to punt it. The play resulted in a roughing the kicker call that almost certainly sealed the victory for the Wildcats.

With the win, Kentucky is officially bowl eligible for the seventh consecutive season.
