Much to his own surprise, Gonzaga All-American Drew Timme woke up on the west coast today to discover that he was transferring to Kentucky and trending on Twitter.
The Timme to Kentucky rumors seemed to have started somewhere around here this morning:
If Drew Timme enters the portal… it’s Kentucky.

Timme hilariously responded on Twitter, “what have I woken up to today. Twitter we good? Is it April first?”

Unfortunately for Kentucky fans, Timme isn’t actually transferring to Lexington, although it is a nice thought to have two All-American big guys in the lineup.
Oscar Tshiebwe and Drew Timme became buddies at the Wooden Award festivities. Now they’re connected on social media. The end. Timme isn’t coming to Kentucky.
I’m not trying to be a wet blanket, I promise! But that rumor seemed to be catching fire.
