Tennessee took the lead early and controlled a large majority of the game on the way to a 69-62 win over Kentucky in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament.
The Wildcats (26-7) tried to mount a late comeback but couldn’t quite get over the hump. Kentucky finished just 2-for-20 from the three-point line in the loss.
The Volunteers (25-7) will face Texas A&M in the SEC tournament championship game.
