Kentucky exploded in the second half to roll to a convincing 95-60 win over Western Kentucky Wednesday night at Rupp Arena.
Kellan Grady led the Wildcats (9-2) in scoring with 23 points on 6-of-9 three-point shooting.
Oscar Tshiebwe added 14 points and a Rupp Arena record 28 rebounds (surpassing Shaquille O’Neal’s 21 boards in 1990). Amazingly, Tshiebwe had 28 rebounds and the Hilltoppers as a team finished with 27 boards.
TyTy Washington chipped in 20 points and dished out 6 assists. Sahvir Wheeler finished with 6 points and 8 assists.
