Kentucky manhandles Louisville to finish with historic 9-3 regular season record

Kentucky and Louisville traded early touchdowns, then the Wildcats rolled to an easy 52-21 victory over the Cards.

Will Levis led the Wildcats with 4 rushing touchdowns. Levis carried it 14 times for 113 yards. He also went 14-18 for 149 yards in the air. After the game, he received the Howard Schnellenberger Award as the Most Valuable Player.

Chris Rodriguez had 16 rushes for 121 yards and a touchdown. La’Vell Wright and Kavosiey Smoke also added rushing touchdowns.

The Wildcats finished with 362 yards on the ground.

Wan’Dale Robinson hauled in 9 receptions for 97 yards.

Kentucky finished the regular season with a 9-3 record and will wait just over a week to find out where they will be heading for bowl season.

This is the only the third since 1977 that Kentucky has won 9 games or more.
