Kentucky is bringing back anthracite uniforms and chrome helmets for today’s game against LSU and, for some reason, Tennessee fans are mad about it.
The Volunteers announced earlier this week that they are wearing black uniforms for this weekend’s game against South Caorlina.
After the Wildcats made an announcement on Twitter, Tennessee fans got worked up because they felt the Wildcats were being copyCats:

They copy the checkerboard, they award themselves a fake national championship from the 50’s, now they copy the black UT uniforms. Is there a more insufferable program? The answer is yes, Vanderbilt https://t.co/WvJ6CA2taz

Somebody in #voltwitter literally asked how long before #BBN announced their dark unis the day that UT released theirs. @SwainEvent this is great. They call their black anthracite so it seems they aren’t copying the Vols again. https://t.co/QRs60SXn0Y

One thing is certain, Volunteer fans are desperate to be relevant again.
The Tennessee game kicks off at noon (because no one cares), while Kentucky and LSU are scheduled to do battle at 7:30 p.m. ET.
