LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine Knights are indeed playing in the postseason. The 2021 College Basketball Invitational released an 8-team bracket today, and the Bellarmine Knights will face Army at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 22 in the tourney’s first round. The 2021 event will be contested at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Bellarmine-Army game will be the last game of the quarterfinals. Stetson and Bowling will leadoff the tourney at 11:30 a.m. on Monday with Coastal Carolina and Bryant following at 2:30 p.m. Longwood and Pepperdine will meet in the game preceding Bellarmine’s
The semifinals will be held at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday with the championship game slated for Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Bellarmine finished the regular season 13-7 in its first year as a Division I program. The Knights were 10-3 in ASUN Conference play and finished second in the regular season standings.
