The Morehead State Eagles are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 years following their impressive 86-71 win over Belmont tonight.
The Eagles (23-7) took the lead in the first half and were never seriously challenged on their way to the OVC championship.

Morehead State freshman Johni Broome was named Tournament MVP after scoring 27 points and pulling down 12 rebounds in tonight’s game. Skyelar Potter added 22 points for the Eagles.
Belmont (26-4) will have to wait to Selection Sunday to see if they earn an at-large bid. If not, they will be in the NIT.
