Former Kentucky star Karl-Anthony Towns returned to NBA action last night after a lengthy battle with COVID-19.
Towns scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in his first game since January 13.
After the game, Towns described what he went through with the virus, which has now claimed the lives of 471,000 Americans:
Towns lost his mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, and six other family members due to complications from COVID-19 in the past year.
