Earlier today, Kansas guard Marcus Garrett was reportedly not playing tonight due to being sick.
Bill Self says he was tested for COVID-19, but the test was negative.
Moments ago, Garrett was announced as a starter for the Jayhawks:
OK. Marcus is listed as a starter on the official stat sheet. To sumarize: On the pregame radio show Self said Garrett was sick but it was NOT COVID-19. Self said Garrett was out tonite. However, Marcus has been warming up and it says he’s playing on the official sheet.

According to one of the announcers in tonight’s game; Garrett has been dealing with stomach issues, a fever, fatigue and difficulty breathing in recent days.
Kansas has played Saint Joseph’s and Gonzaga so far this season.
Saint Joseph’s has temporarily shut down their program due to positive COVID-19 tests.
Gonzaga has help multiple players out due to COVID-19, but (for some reason) opted to play anyways.
