Syracuse just barely got past Bryant 85-84 this afternoon.
During the game, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim blamed the close game on the ACC’s COVID-19 protocols.
Boeheim at halftime: “Not practicing in 14 days, you just can’t play this game. They should’ve just canceled the game… We’re not conditioned. They’ve got fast guys and they’re pushing right by us… This is a tough game for us if we’re practicing every day. We’re not ready.”

After the game, Boeheim, who recently had COVID-19, said, “it’s foolish what we’re doing.”

“It’s foolish what we’re doing. We’re saying if one guy tests positive the whole team can’t play, it’s almost impossible… we’ve got to do something about this now or the season will be destroyed.”
