Former Tates Creek High School basketball player Mykel Waide died early this morning after a shooting in Lexington.
Waide, who was set to begin his first semester at the University of Louisville on Monday, was pronounced dead just after 3:00 a.m. ET.

According to WKYT, four men were shot during the incident.
