Bath County High School has shut down all athletic workouts until July 13.
Here is a statement from AD Scott Anderson:
The Bath County Athletic Department, in coordination with Bath County Administration and the local Gateway District Health Department, has decided to suspend all athletic workouts until July 13.
BCHS and BCMS administrators have worked closely with the Gateway District Health Department and will adhere to their recommendation, that we as a school district, temporarily hault practices to limit possible exposure of the COVID-19 virus.
If any further action needs to be taken, an announcement will be published at that time.
As of now; Phelps, Clay County and Russell have all temporarily shut down workouts in some or all sports.
