According to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, Phillip Fulmer is the Southeastern Conference AD who is strongly opposed to opening athletic facilities on June 1.
According to Jones’ source, Fulmer was so against the idea that he forced the league’s athletic directors to table their decision until at least next week.
The source told Jones that Fulmer would like to push things back to at least June 15.
