Sarr is seeking a waiver to play immediately due to a coaching change at Wake Forest. If the NCAA denies his waiver, he says he will play overseas or seek other options.
One interesting thing to note: Olivier Sarr’s case for a waiver is pretty straightforward, but he said he won’t sit out if he doesn’t get it.
“I could go pro (overseas), play one year in the EuroLeague, somewhere to get ready for the NBA. There’s no way I sit out.”
