Rhode Island transfer Jacob Toppin committed to Kentucky this afternoon.
Toppin, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game as a freshman last season.

Toppin, who will likely have to sit out next season, is a traditional transfer with three years of eligibility remaining.
