Governor Andy Beshear issued an unprecedented order regarding mass gatherings during his daily briefing on COVID-19 this afternoon.
Beshear said police will record those who gather in groups over the weekend, including those who attend church services. Those folks will then be required to quarantine for 14 days.
Beshear announces significant new order: If a person goes to mass gathering this wknd (i.e. church), that person’s license plate will be recorded, info given to health depts. Health officials will come to that person’s door w/ order to self-quarantine for 14 days. @LEX18News
