According to Evan Daniels of 247 Sports, Kentucky is one of roughly 20 schools that has reached out to Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms.
Haarms, a 7-foot-3 center, averaged 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game last season.
The schools that have reached out are Gonzaga, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Illinois State, Louisville Kentucky, Arizona, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Syracuse, DePaul, South Carolina, Boston College, Seton Hall, Wichita State, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, Washington State, Utah, Oregon State, San Jose State, and Cal State Fullerton.
“It’s too early right now,” Haarms said when asked if he had an idea of who he would consider. “I still have people calling who haven’t texted me so I don’t even have the full picture just yet.”
Haarms averaged 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks a game, while shooting 52.4-percent from the field. As a sophomore Haarms averaged 9.4 points and 5.4 rebounds a game.
As a grad transfer, Haarms will be able to play immediately at a new school.
